Michael's Awesome Pizza Dough / Crust Recipe

Pizza Crust

2 (1/4 oz)

I like to add my special touch. (I was doing this Way before the franchise pizza places were!)

Directions

1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand until white and bubbly, about 10 minutes.
2. In a large bowl, combine 4 cups bread flour, olive oil, salt, white sugar and the yeast mixture; stir well to combine.
    Beat well until a stiff dough has formed. (I use a stand mixer. You can use a bread machine Just to mix dough.)
    Place dough on a cookie sheet or flat surface, Cover and rise until doubled in volume, about 30 minutes.
    Then split into 2 balls, and re-rise, (Makes 2 Pizzas.) I usually make 1 12" Pan pizza and 2 12" regular Pizzas
    Meanwhile, preheat oven to 425 degrees F

3. Turn dough out onto a well floured surface. Form dough into a round pizza crust shape.
    (I like to press mine out, Not roll it.)
    Cover with our Sweet Pizza Sauce and toppings and bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
